In the world of metal, pupils and students have ample choice when it comes to apprenticeships. But with us, things are a little different. We work a lot with special types of sheet metal such as high-strength and wear-resistant steel and make complex product shapes. WBM employees have a lot of knowledge in house, and you can make use of it!
Internships
We regularly have trainees, whether they come from intermediate vocational, higher vocational or university courses. You can work in the factory or on an assignment in the office, for example in our sales department. Assignments where you work from school are also negotiable.
Walk-in days for vmbo-students
Are you a high school student and curious about our beautiful field? You are welcome to join us on a trial day! You can work on the bending bench, for example. Or is the 3D laser cutter more your thing? Find out during an open day.
Company walk-in days for mbo-students
We have a great programme for small groups of MBO students to get acquainted with WBM:
- Text and explanation about the origins of our company;
- Intro on material knowledge, our operations and products;
- Explanation of entire process from customer request to product;
- Guided tour
Participants of this programme gave the programme no less than an 8.6 rating.
A bbl training at WBM
Are you not a sit-down person or do you prefer to work with your hands after your vmbo or havo training? Then an mbo bbl training probably suits you better. You will mainly work and go to school one or two days. And another advantage: you get a salary for the working days. At WBM you can follow such a bbl trajectory.
