WBM Staalservice is a sheet metal processing company with approximately 50 employees. In our more than 50 years of existence, we have built up an excellent reputation in the field of cutting and bending steel plates. WBM specializes in 3D cutting of components, complex bending work and the processing of high-strength and wear-resistant steel. Through our years of experience, we have built up an extensive knowledge base, which gives us a great advantage over our competitors. WBM serves customers in, among others, trailer construction, agriculture and lifting and hoisting equipment sectors.
Job description Technical Service Employee
As a Technical Service Employee, you work during the day and are responsible for the optimal functioning of our machinery. You start the day with a meeting with your colleague from the Technical Service to discuss whether there have been any malfunctions or other matters that require attention. Together, you draw up the daily schedule and divide the tasks.
Your tasks and responsibilities
The following tasks occur during your working day:
- Daily consultation: Together with your colleague, you review the status of the machinery and discuss the priorities of the day.
- Troubleshooting: You respond quickly and adequately to malfunctions, so that production is affected as little as possible.
- Preventive maintenance: You regularly perform preventive maintenance to prevent malfunctions and extend the lifespan of the machines.
- Drawing up daily planning: You plan your work efficiently and ensure that all important tasks are carried out.
- Collaboration: You work closely with your colleagues and other departments to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Your success factors
You bring these things with you:
- MBO work and thinking level;
- Relevant experience or training in the direction of Mechatronics;
- Knowledge of materials and production processes;
- You can work independently and accurately and have experience with reading electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams;
- Good communication skills.
